Outdoor Patio Heaters

A patio heater is a radiant heating appliance for generating thermal radiation for outdoor use. Is a burner on top of a pole that burns liquefied petroleum gas, propane, or butane that heats up a metal screen. the screen causes the heat to be radiated around the appliance and a silvered reflector top reflects the heat back down that would otherwise be a loss. The silvered top is a poor absorber of heat but excellent at reflecting infra-red radiation back.
some newer patio heaters are electrically powered radiation heaters that emit infrared energy onto nearby surfaces, which heats the surrounding air.
Styles of patio heaters include:
*Wall Mounted-fixed to structure or wall.
*Hanging-portable and small electric only.
*Tabletop-ultra portable great for smaller groups uses a small propane tank.
